Terms & Conditions
The rules of the road for using Bondi.Directory. Last updated 1 June 2026.
1. About these terms
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Bondi.Directory website at bondi.directory (the "Site"), operated by Bondi.Directory ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.
2. Who we are
Bondi.Directory is an independent, locally-owned guide to Bondi Beach, Sydney. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Waverley Council or any government agency.
3. Use of the Site
- You may use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes and to find local businesses and information.
- You must not misuse the Site, attempt to interfere with its operation, scrape it at scale, or use it for any unlawful purpose.
- You must be at least 16 years old, or have a parent or guardian's consent, to submit any information to us.
4. Listings & content accuracy
Listings are provided for general information only. Details such as opening hours, prices, addresses and services change frequently and may be out of date. We do not warrant that any listing is accurate, complete or current. Always confirm details directly with the business before making decisions or travelling.
Inclusion of a business is not an endorsement, and we are not responsible for the products, services, conduct or safety of any business listed.
5. Submitting a listing or content
If you submit a business listing or other content, you confirm that:
- The information is accurate and you are authorised to submit it;
- Where required, the business holds all relevant licences (including NSW trade licences);
- You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to publish, edit, format and display the submitted content on the Site and our channels.
We review submissions and may edit, decline or remove any listing at our discretion. Standard local listings are free; "Featured" placements may be paid and are labelled as such.
6. Affiliate disclosure
Bondi.Directory participates in affiliate programs. This means some links on the Site — particularly within our Stays & Tours section and any link marked Featured — are affiliate links. If you click one and make a booking or purchase, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.
Affiliate partners may include accommodation, tour and transfer booking platforms (such as Booking.com, GetYourGuide and similar providers). Our editorial picks are made on merit; earning a commission does not change our honest opinion, and we only feature places we'd genuinely recommend. This disclosure is made in line with Australian Consumer Law and the ACCC's guidance on advertising and endorsements.
7. Third-party links
The Site links to third-party websites we don't control. We're not responsible for their content, products, privacy practices or availability. Accessing third-party sites is at your own risk and subject to their terms.
8. Intellectual property
The Site's design, text, logos and original content are owned by or licensed to Bondi.Directory and protected by law. You may not reproduce or republish substantial portions without our written permission. Business names, logos and photographs remain the property of their respective owners.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
The Site is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties, express or implied. Nothing in these Terms excludes guarantees that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Site or reliance on its content. Where our liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to re-supplying the relevant information.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and the "last updated" date will reflect the revision. Your continued use of the Site means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that state.
